The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate in Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Ogunsola ‘Lanre Adesina FCPA, assured voters on Thursday, November 7, 2024, that his second-term administration would surpass his previous efforts in delivering essential projects.
Addressing residents in Wards 5, 7, and 8 — Moloko Asipa, Oba, and Egbeda respectively — Ogunsola promised significant improvements if re-elected in the upcoming Ogun State Local Government Elections.
Reflecting on his prior term, Amb. Ogunsola highlighted achievements such as grading 150 kilometers of roads and securing transformers for various communities, including Egbeda and Ajebo.
He urged community members not only to vote for him but also for all APC Councilorship candidates in the Local Government to ensure comprehensive support for development initiatives.
Supporting his campaign, Engr. Babatunde Akeem Adesina, a two-term Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode and currently the Special Adviser to the Governor on Works and Infrastructures, praised Ogunsola’s performance and commitment.
Adesina described Ogunsola as his political protégé, assuring the electorate that if re-elected, Ogunsola would bring the “dividends of democracy” to all communities in the Local Government.
He also thanked the Ogun State Governor, Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun, for ongoing infrastructure projects in the region, like the Ojere/Oba road construction.
APC Local Government Chairman, Chief Emmanuel Olaitan Olude, encouraged residents to vote in full force on November 16, 2024, to continue the party’s positive impact on the area.
Expressing confidence in APC’s chances, Olude emphasized the importance of a unified party victory.
His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul Ganiu Sanyaolu, the Olu of Oba Eerin, expressed gratitude to Amb. Ogunsola and his team for visiting his palace, where he bestowed royal blessings on the candidates, wishing them success in the election.
At the community level, Chief Adesina Abraham, Baale of Moloko Asipa, requested that if Ogunsola is re-elected, he should prioritize expanding the Health Centre and rehabilitating Moloko Asipa High School.
Additionally, Chief Sunday Ifasesan Solola, Baale of Egbeda/Oba, praised Ogunsola’s prior efforts in securing transformers for Ori-Osoko Town and urged him to maintain the momentum of development across the Local Government.
