FMC Abeokuta Appoints Adebisi as Head of Clinical Services

Dr. Olusola Adebisi has officially assumed office as the new Head of Clinical Services (HCS) at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Abeokuta, following a formal handing-over ceremony with the outgoing HCS, Dr. A.S. Adediran.
A statement signed by the Acting Head, Information and Public Relations Department, Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, Olugbemisola Olatunji, noted that the ceremony, held at the HCS office, marked the end of Dr. Adediran’s four-year tenure and the beginning of a new phase in the hospital’s clinical administration.
Speaking during the ceremony, Dr. Adediran expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve in the position and acknowledged the enormous responsibilities attached to the office.
“The seat is challenging and the workload is enormous, but I have no doubt that Dr. Adebisi has the capability to hold the position,” he said.
He welcomed his successor and urged members of staff across the hospital to extend their support and cooperation to ensure the success of the new Head of Clinical Services.
Dr. Adediran also pledged his continued support for his successor and formally handed over the official handing-over note and other relevant documents to Dr. Adebisi.
The appointment places Dr. Adebisi at the helm of the hospital’s clinical administration, with the responsibility of overseeing clinical operations and coordinating healthcare services at the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta.
