House of Assembly aspirant in Ogun State, Honourable Sulaimon Mujaidu Ajibola, has expressed profound appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders and ward executives across Obafemi Owode Local Government for their support and encouragement towards his political aspiration.
Ajibola, in a statement issued after a series of consultations and stakeholder engagements, particularly appreciated the Apex Leadership of Obafemi Owode Local Government led by Engr Akeem Babatunde Adesina, for what he described as unwavering guidance, encouragement and confidence reposed in his ambition to represent the people at the Ogun State House of Assembly.
The aspirant also specially acknowledged Rt Honourable Tunji Egbetokun and Honourable Adesina Ogunsola for their support, leadership and commitment to strengthening unity among party stakeholders across the local government.
According to Ajibola, the support and solidarity demonstrated by party leaders and grassroots mobilisers have further reinforced his commitment to service, inclusiveness and sustainable development within the constituency.
He further extended appreciation to all the twelve ward chairmen in Obafemi Owode Local Government under the leadership of Mathew Sopade, describing their collective backing and mobilisation as a strong reflection of unity, loyalty and confidence in his aspiration.
Ajibola noted that the decision of representatives from the twelve wards to accompany him during consultations with apex leaders symbolised the strength of grassroots participation and the shared desire for progress within the local government.

The House of Assembly hopeful equally recognised the contributions of notable stakeholders present during the meetings, including Adesina Nureni Ayinde, Foluke Funmilayo Oluwadare, Ganiyat Oyelakin, Adekunle Anifowose and Emabinu Taofeek, commending their efforts in mobilising support and fostering cooperation among party faithful.
He stated that the encouragement received from party executives and stakeholders across the wards reflected his long-standing relationship with the grassroots as well as his commitment to party development over the years.
Ajibola added that remarks made by stakeholders during the consultations, particularly those centred on his loyalty, humility, accessibility and dedication to service, would continue to inspire him towards responsible representation if entrusted with the mandate.
While thanking all members and leaders who attended the consultations and meetings, the aspirant assured residents and party faithful that their support would not be taken for granted.
He pledged to continue engaging stakeholders across the constituency in pursuit of collective development and inclusive governance.
Ajibola also promised the people of Obafemi Owode Local Government better dividends of democracy through effective representation, people-oriented legislation and sustained grassroots development if elected into office.
