
200 students of Ajebo Grammar School in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area have befitted from Hon. Abiodun Olusanjo’s education initiative ahead of his re-election bid.
In a strategic move to bolster his re-election campaign, Hon. Abiodun Olusanjo, the Councilor representing Ajebo Ward in Obafemi Owode Local Government, has launched an ambitious education initiative aimed at supporting students and promoting academic excellence within his constituency.
The initiative, which was unveiled at a ceremony at Ajebo Grammar School, kicked off with the distribution of 200 new school uniforms, textbooks, and cash donations to students.
The program seeks to alleviate the financial burdens faced by many families while ensuring that students have the necessary resources to excel academically.
Speaking at the launch event, Olusanjo emphasized the central role of education in driving community development.
“Education is the backbone of our community’s growth and prosperity. As a councilor, it’s my duty to ensure our youth have access to quality education and resources to succeed,” he stated.
The councilor’s commitment to Ajebo Ward is reflected in various community development projects he has spearheaded over the years.
As the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer for Councilor in Ajebo Ward 11, Olusanjo reassured his constituents of his continuous dedication to addressing their needs.
He highlighted that his education initiative is just the first of many efforts designed to uplift the community.
Key components of Olusanjo’s education initiative include: School Uniform Distribution 200 new uniforms were provided to incoming JSS 1 students at Ajebo Grammar School.
Textbook and Cash Donations: Students received educational materials and financial support to ease the cost of learning.

Community Development Projects, Infrastructure upgrades and improvements in social services for Ajebo Ward residents. Youth Empowerment Programs Initiatives aimed at developing both educational and vocational skills for the youth.
With Obafemi Owode Local Government hosting approximately 228,851 residents, Olusanjo’s investment in education and youth development is expected to significantly impact the community.
His efforts are seen as crucial to fostering a brighter future for the ward’s younger generation.
“Ajebo Ward deserves quality representation, and I’m committed to delivering that,” Olusanjo affirmed. “This initiative is just the beginning of my efforts to empower our youth and drive community growth.”
The event was well-attended by local government officials, educators, and community leaders who praised Olusanjo for his forward-thinking approach.
Mrs. Funke Adeyemi, the Principal of Ajebo Grammar School, lauded the councilor’s dedication, saying, “Ajebo Ward is lucky to have a councilor like Olusanjo, who truly cares about education.”
Similarly, a resident of Ajebo Ward, Mr. Gbenga Oyedele, expressed optimism, stating, “Olusanjo’s initiative is a step in the right direction. We look forward to seeing more projects that benefit our community.”
