The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has declared nine individuals wanted for terrorism and violent extremism in Nigeria’s North East region.
The suspects are identified as Abu Khadijah, Abur Rahman, Dadi Gumba, Abu Yusuf, Musa Wa’a, Usman Kanin Shehu, Ibrahim Suyeka, Ba Sulhu, and Idris Taklakse.
Maj-Gen Edward Buba, Director of Defence Media Operations, announced this development during a press briefing in Abuja, stating that all nine suspects are linked to ongoing security concerns in the region.
The DHQ called on the public to provide any information that could lead to the apprehension of these individuals, underscoring the government’s commitment to countering terrorism.
Authorities encourage citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to aid in restoring peace and security in the North East.
