In the heart of Odeda Local Government, grassroots engagement is at the core of Hon. Dr. Folasade Waliat Adeyemo’s campaign.
As the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate, Dr. Adeyemo’s recent ward-to-ward tour through Itesi, Odeda, and Osiele highlighted her commitment to understanding and addressing community needs firsthand.

Itesi Ward
Dr. Adeyemo received a warm welcome from party supporters and community members in Itesi Ward.
The ward chairman, Mr. Aliu Salisu, and the councillorship candidate, Hon. Idowu Alani Raufu, expressed their full support for Dr. Adeyemo’s campaign, with Salisu affirming, “Dr. Adeyemo’s leadership has always been centered around the people. Her re-election is crucial for continued progress.”
Odeda Ward
The campaign train was received in Odeda Ward by Rt. Hon. David Oludaisi Victor Elemide (DOVE), Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, alongside other prominent leaders and ward members.
Dr. Adeyemo emphasized her commitment to bringing more dividends of democracy to the ward, utilizing her experience to address local issues. “I have served with dedication, and I promise to continue delivering the necessary changes our community needs,” she stated.
Osiele Ward
In Osiele, women’s groups and community members gave Dr. Adeyemo an enthusiastic welcome, reflecting the support for her leadership and focus on women’s empowerment.
Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu (OMOYAYI) commended her commitment to good governance, adding, “Dr. Adeyemo’s track record speaks volumes. She is a leader who understands the importance of sustainable progress.”
Throughout her campaign, Dr. Adeyemo has highlighted key priorities such as youth and women empowerment, inclusive governance, and expanding access to essential community resources.
Her tour was supported by her campaign team, led by Director General Hon. Semiu Bola Lawal, and featured key figures such as Hon. Musulumi Saka, Alh. Mufutau Oguntola, Hon. Muritala Idowu, and members of the Amazon Mothers, FASO Women, Achievers Women, Fola Amazons, and other local women’s organizations.
The tour was lively, with music from the Wonder Band and drummers, creating a festive atmosphere.
