Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has vowed to turn over a new leaf, declaring that he is now focused on making money rather than engaging in trouble.
Speaking after his release on bail, the Zazu crooner took to social media to express his new resolve. “My fans, thank God for everything. If you have God, you have everything. I need money. I am not looking for trouble anymore. I’m now focused on making money. I have ₦2 million bail debt. I need more money. I am looking for money,” he said.
Portable was granted ₦2 million bail on Thursday by a Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, Ogun State, after pleading not guilty to a five-count charge, including conspiracy, assault, unlawful possession of weapons, and unruly conduct.
The singer was arraigned by the Ogun State police following allegations that he and his associates assaulted three officials of the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).
