…Receives prestigious award from Federal Character Commission

The Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta, has been recognized for its outstanding compliance with Federal Character Principles, earning the “Award of Recognition” from the Federal Character Commission, Abuja.
The award was presented during the Commission’s 3rd Award Night held at Treasure Suites & Conference Hotel, Abuja, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
The event aimed to honor Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) that have demonstrated exemplary adherence to Federal Character Principles in their operations.
Receiving the award on behalf of the hospital, Dr. Paul Agboola, Provost and Medical Director, expressed gratitude to the Commission for acknowledging the institution’s efforts.
“This recognition is a testament to our commitment to inclusivity and fairness in line with the Federal Character Principles. We are proud to contribute to the Commission’s core mandates,” Dr. Agboola stated.
The award was presented by the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission, Dr. Muheeba Dankaka, OON, NPOM.
In her remarks, Dr. Dankaka commended the hospital’s dedication to fostering equitable representation and ensuring operational compliance. “Institutions like Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Aro, exemplify the values we aim to uphold through the Federal Character Principles,” she noted.
This accolade underscores the hospital’s continued efforts to maintain excellence and inclusivity in its operations, aligning with national standards and promoting fairness across its services.
