A House of Assembly aspirant in Ogun State, Honourable Sulaimon Mujaidu Ajibola, has expressed appreciation to party leaders, ward executives, and stakeholders in Obafemi Owode Local Government for their support toward his aspiration.
Ajibola, in a statement following his recent consultations and declaration, specifically commended the Apex Leadership of Obafemi Owode Local Government led by Engr Akeem Babatunde Adesina, for what he described as guidance, encouragement and confidence in his ambition.
He also appreciated Honourable Adesina Ogunsola for his support and leadership role in strengthening unity among party stakeholders.
The aspirant extended gratitude to all the twelve wards in the local government, noting that their decision to accompany him to meet the apex leadership demonstrated unity and grassroots strength.
Ajibola further acknowledged the presence and contributions of key stakeholders at the meeting, including Adesina Nureni Ayinde, Foluke Funmilayo Oluwadare, Ganiyat Oyelakin, Adekunle Anifowose, and Emabinu Taofeek, commending their roles in mobilising support across the wards.
He also recognised the collective backing of ward chairmen under the leadership of Mathew Sopade, describing their endorsement as a strong indication of confidence in his candidacy.
Ajibola said the support received from ward executives and party leaders across the twelve wards reflected his long-standing relationship with the grassroots and his consistent contributions to party development.
He noted that the encouragement from stakeholders, particularly remarks highlighting his loyalty, humility and accessibility, would further strengthen his resolve to serve effectively if given the mandate.
The aspirant assured party members and residents of his commitment to inclusive representation and sustained development, adding that he would continue to engage stakeholders in pursuit of collective progress.
He also thanked all members present at the meetings and consultations, stating that their support would not be taken for granted.
