Urges Residents to Re-elect Him for Continued Development
Local Leaders Praise Ogunsola’s First Term Achievements
The Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ambassador Ogunsola ‘Lanre Adesina, FCPA, has officially launched his ward-to-ward campaign ahead of the November 16, 2024, Local Government Elections.
The campaign began with rousing receptions at Ajebo Ward and Alapako Wards 11 and 12, as Amb. Ogunsola, seeking a second term, engaged residents to secure their votes.
Accompanied by key party chieftains including the Obafemi Owode APC Chairman, Chief Emmanuel Idowu Olude, and Campaign Director General, Hon. Bamidele Erisan, Ogunsola reiterated his commitment to delivering good governance and extending more democratic dividends to the grassroots.
While addressing the gathering, Hon. Erisan urged residents of the wards to ensure a landslide victory for all APC candidates in the local government.
“This is not just about electing Amb. Ogunsola but ensuring all our councilors emerge victorious. Together, we can secure a prosperous future for our local government,” Erisan emphasized.
Local Leaders Applaud Ogunsola’s Performance
At the campaign ground in Ajebo Ward, Chief Adewale Adebisi, the Baale of Oyebola Village, lauded Ogunsola’s achievements in his first term, highlighting his successful leadership.
“Amb. Ogunsola has proven himself as a capable and experienced leader. He is fit to lead us once again and continue his good deeds,” Adebisi stated, urging residents to come out en masse to re-elect Ogunsola and vote for all APC councilors.
Similarly, in Alapako Ward 12, Hon. Sanni Tajudeen praised Ogunsola’s first term but expressed the community’s desire for more improvements, particularly in healthcare services. “Your first administration was outstanding, but like Oliver Twist, we ask for more.
We need additional health centers to serve our people,” Tajudeen appealed, calling on party members to work tirelessly for the party’s success at the polls.
Ogunsola Reiterates Commitment to Grassroots Development
In his speech, Amb. Ogunsola expressed gratitude to the party faithful for their support and acknowledged the backing of Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, CON.
He assured residents of his commitment to delivering on his promises, urging them to secure their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) and turn out in large numbers on election day.
“I appreciate your unwavering support and the trust you’ve placed in me. Together, we’ll achieve more for Obafemi Owode Local Government. Let’s keep our PVCs ready and vote for all APC candidates on November 16,” Ogunsola remarked, expressing confidence in securing victory for the party.
As the campaign progresses, the APC candidate and his team plan to visit more wards to consolidate their grassroots engagement and secure the mandate for another term.
