Popular singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has reported to the Ogun State Police Command in Abeokuta following allegations of assault on officials of the state Town Planning Agency.
Portable was declared wanted after allegedly attacking the officials who were enforcing regulations on his property in the Ilogbo area of Ogun State.
Confirming his presence, the state police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, stated that the singer arrived at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Eleweran, Abeokuta, at 1:23 p.m. on Wednesday.
“His presence at the SCID is connected to an ongoing investigation. The command assures the public that due process will be followed in handling this matter, and updates will be provided as necessary,” Odutola said.
The police have yet to disclose further details regarding the investigation.
